Newcastle New Annual Festival 2023 – Register to perform with the Ukastle Ukestra

Our Performance

The Newcastle New Annual Festival has invited the Ukastle Ukestra to perform on Tuesday 26th September from 12-1pm in their lunch time concerts that are held at Wheeler Place. The 60 minute gig will be relaxed: bring your music stands, music, chairs and sun hats!

The festival is on from 22nd Sept to the 1st October with lots of good stuff to see. We have been asked to give some lunch time entertainment/music.

One Rehearsal

We will have just one rehearsal on Thursday 14th September at the Carrington BC from 5.30-6.45pm. We will also be playing the song list in our ukestras each week. The performance fee is $10 to be paid in cash at ukestras or at the rehearsal.

Our repertoire is selected from what we consider to be our classics from the current ukestra playlist. This set list is what we will select from (we only need 10 songs) depending on which lead singers we get applying.
