Term 4 – 2015 – scroll down to go straight to enrolment form
Things continue to evolve for ukulele at Cardiff South Public School, as things tend to do after nearly five years! In that 4+ years over 150 children have enjoyed ukulele and singing. Beginners are welcome at the beginning of each term.
We will now only be having a one hour afternoon program, to complement the ukulele studies at our after-school programs.
In Term 4 we will run two concurrent 1 hour after-school classes at Cardiff South Public. If we have sufficient beginner demand, we will run a third class.
This term we also want the kids to perform at the Ukestras Showcase in the Auditorium at South Newcastle Leagues Club on Sunday afternoon December 13. It is not obligatory, but it is a great thrill! So we hope the kids can really focus on this goal in this term.
Ukulele Term 4 starts in Week 2 on Wednesday 14 October and will finish on Wednesday 9 December. This will be a 9 week term. Dianne Murray and Mark Jackson will be the teachers.
After School 60 minute ukulele classes – Wednesday afternoons
The existing classes are available to children who wish to learn more about reading music, to advance their ukulele skills, and to join our Jukestra performance troupes. We have a solid core group of children who have been learning for a number of years now.
If there is sufficient demand, we will run a third class for beginning children.
