First meeting in 2010, The Do Riders have finally brought out their debut album in October 2013, Barefoot Blurgrass.
13 songs of dubious origin and genre. 6 originals, 7 blurgrassed covers. The Do Riders recorded their debut album in one weekend, live in a mattressed and eggcartoned room at Eaglehenge, somewhere in the Myall River Valley on the mid north coast of NSW.
From the 1920s jazz of Shimmy Like My Sister Kate, to the contemporary pop song of Price Tag by Jesse J., The Do Riders add their own little random time stamp to this album. Contemporary pop and rock played in a bluegrassie / old timey style, or odd originals played in the same way!
You can buy it from us. Talk to us. See us. Enjoy. $20. (plus postage, but we haven’t figured out that bit yet).
